Built the ASIMED product end-to-end: public site, admin panel, and NestJS services.
## Architecture
- Three-layer setup: Astro public site, React/TypeScript admin panel, and NestJS services with a shared API contract.
- Domain boundaries kept honest — the public site never speaks to the internal table shapes directly; everything goes through the API.
- Shared component library used by both the public site and the admin panel, so design and behavior stay consistent.
## Data & infrastructure
- PostgreSQL + Drizzle ORM as the system of record, with clean migrations and typed schema shared with the API layer.
- Keycloak for authentication and identity, including role mapping across the admin panel and API.
- Redis for cache, queues, and realtime channels — used to keep long-running operations off the request path.
- MinIO for object storage (clinical files, attachments) and Mailgun for transactional email.
## Delivery
- Docker Compose for local and staging environments; production deploys through GitHub Actions on each merge to main.
- Backups, scheduled jobs, and observability baked into the same Docker Compose stack so environments stay reproducible.
